Three people and two dogs managed to get out okay after their nearby garage went up in flames Friday morning at their southwest Bakersfield home. It is unclear what sparked the fire around 2:30 on Sycamore Creek and Aspen Creek drives that also damaged an RV in the driveway. Total damage is estimated at $200,000.
