DREAM CENTER GETS BIGGER

The Dream Center for former foster youth is celebrating a big new office space in downtown Bakersfield.

Jayme Stuart from the Kern County Network for Children says the services needed by people 18 to 24-years-old has grown, with staff from Public Health and Employer’s Training Resource setting up offices. The Dream Center is a one-stop shop on 19th and F streets that links foster youth to services from counseling to bus passes, and helps with meals, housing and other basic needs.
