Bakersfield police are investigating a smash and grab robbery Tuesday afternoon at a jewelry store inside the Valley Plaza mall. Officers were called just after 2:00 and were told two suspects approached Kevin Jewelers and removed several items. There were no reports of any injuries and no weapons were mentioned.
