The Arvin Christmas Parade appears to be back on, as Kern County Supervisor Leticia Perez donates the $15-hundred deposit suddenly required by the City Council. The Chamber of Commerce did not have the funds to pay the fee and had voted last night to drop their annual event when Perez stepped in, but it must still pay police and other overtime costs. The City Council is expected to take up the matter at its meeting November 21st.
