Final preparations are underway for a new, all-purpose gymnasium at North High School in Oildale that will be ready in time for boys and girls basketball games this month. Athletic Director Brian Huens says the building is named for former athletic director and principal Lloyd Williams, and is one of several new additions to the campus and other improvements. The North High gym is fully air-conditioned and has a capacity of more than two-thousand seats, Stars basketball hosts Centennial November 27th.
