CITIES APPROVE, PASS ON POT

The Arvin City Council has voted to ban pot shops in the city but will allow commercial grows under certain conditions, and the production of marijuana edibles. Those who want to do business there say Tuesday night’s vote is a step in the right direction, as the council promises to revisit the issue next year.

Taft also banned all commercial cannabis activities there while Wasco tabled a vote on indoor grows until December.
