A family has been displaced and a dog has died after a fire destroyed their mobile home in Tupman. Kern County firefighters are investigating what sparked the fire on Elk Street and Grace Avenue around 10:40 Thursday morning. The family was not home at the time, but a neighbor did get a minor burn when he tried to put it out.
