The Bakersfield Track Club has kept a time-honored Thanksgiving tradition going by holding its annual pie run Thursday morning in Hart Park. The event’s creator John Rous was killed in a collision while riding his bicycle on Old Alfred Harrell Highway earlier this month. It brought together dessert lovers and fitness enthusiasts.
