Two people have has lost four cats and two dogs after a fire destroyed a single-wide trailer in Canebreak east of Onyx, Kern County Fire says it happened just before 6:30 Tuesday night on Tommy Avenue and crews had limited supplies of water when they arrived. Damage is estimated at $100 thousand and the cause is unknown.
