Homeowners in Kern County have until Monday to pay the first installment of their yearly property tax bill. The treasurer’s office says in order to avoid a ten percent late penalty, payments must be made in person or postmarked by December 11th. Their office is located on the second floor of the county administration building on Truxtun Avenue.
