Bakersfield police are investigating a crash involving a Kern County Sheriff’s Office patrol car on Union Avenue and Niles Street. It happened just after 1:00 Saturday afternoon and Senior Deputy Tanner Miller says debris from the collision injured two people standing on the southwest corner. He says the injured deputy had a siren and lights flashing before the incident, the collision shut down traffic in the area for several hours.
