An off-duty Bakersfield police officer has been arrested on suspicion of drunk driving. Police say Anthony Berumen was stopped by the Highway Patrol around 1:30 Tuesday morning on Fruitvale Avenue near Rosedale Highway. He has been with the department since July 2013 and was placed on administrative leave.
