Five people have been displaced following a house fire Thursday afternoon on Malibar Avenue in Rexland Acres. Bakersfield Fire says it started just after noon and an attached garage was fully involved when firefighters arrived, two cars in the driveway were also burned. Damage is estimated at $60,000.
