Law enforcement is looking for an inmate who escaped from the Taft Correctional Institution’s satellite camp.

29-year-old Javier Torres was serving a 120 month sentence for drug possession. The facility did not say how he escaped, only that he was not seen during a count Saturday.

He is described as 5’11” tall, with black hair and brown eyes. He also has a one inch scar on his right hand.
