PRISON FOR DEADLY DUI

A Bakersfield man who caused a fiery crash that killed two young women and burned a third has been sentenced to 73 years to life in prison.

Dontrell Collins was drunk and high on PCP when he rammed the victims’ car at Rosedale Hwy and Verdugo Lane during Labor Day weekend in 2014.

Collins apologized to the victims’s families in court but will appeal.
