A Mexican citizen who used to live in Taft has been sentenced to more than 10-years in federal prison for distributing meth, heroin and cocaine. Truck driver Mario Alvarez-Muniz had been delivering the drugs to the Midwest and Pacific Northwest for years before he was caught during an undercover sting in Bakersfield.
