A lockdown has been lifted at Harris Elementary School in Bakersfield after police responded Tuesday to a call of shots fired nearby. Officers were called just after noon and found shell casings in the roadway near Garnsey Lane and Mira Loma Drive. They believe a gun was fired from a passing car and there were no reports of any injuries.
