Police are interviewing the residents of an east Bakersfield motel where a man died early Friday morning after being shot multiple times.

BPD believes two men were behind the attack that happened around 1:00 at the Gateway Inn on Union Avenue, and that they got away in a four-door sedan. A motive for an attack is unknown.
