Police are investigating a three-car crash in south Bakersfield that killed a man and sent three people to the hospital.

It happened around 11:30 Sunday morning on Ming Avenue just east of Valley Plaza when the driver of Ford sedan ended up on the wrong side of the street and ran head on into an SUV that was then hit by a pickup truck. A female passenger was ejected.
