Kern County Environmental Health has closed the Rusty’s Pizza on Olive Drive in Bakersfield after a live rat was found in a soda storage room. The restaurant’s management was ordered to clean and sanitize all food equipment and flooring inside the building. Inspectors also found a dirty floor drain near the cash register.
