The Kern County Farm Bureau and growers across the state have signed a letter asking Congress to reform the Agricultural Guest Worker Act.

The recent letter to House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy of Bakersfield is asking for visa caps to be raised and have those visas clearly spell out how long someone can stay in the country. The Farm Bureau wants Congress to act before harvest season.
