Bakersfield firefighters have rescued a woman who became stranded on a steep hill near the soccer park on Alfred Harrell Highway. It happened around 12:30 Wednesday afternoon after she was hiking with family members. She was raised up a slope and taken to the hospital for a possible ankle injury.
