Lerdo Jail in north Bakersfield remains on lockdown to the public after an overnight brawl, which injured four inmates and caused extensive damage to furniture, TVs and the building itself. Sheriff’s Lt. Mark King says several prisoners refused to comply with bed count procedures and became disruptive last night [tue] around 9:30, and 120 inmates were involved before the riot was put down about four hours later.
