The man charged with gunning down another man outside a house in Lamont has pleaded no contest to voluntary manslaughter. Sheriff’s deputies say 20-year-old Francisco Renteria was fighting with 27-year-old Luis Ayala on Doney Street in 2016 before he pulled out a revolver. Renteria has a probation hearing next month.
