A jury has convicted a man who committed a lewd act on a 12-year-old girl at Planz Park in south Bakersfield and is facing life in prison. 22-year-old Julian Escamilla was also found guilty of three counts of kidnapping enhancements. He is scheduled to be formally sentenced April 24th.
