The family of a Bakersfield woman who went missing a week ago confirms it was her body that was found near Delonegha Hot Springs in the Kern River Canyon.

Shayla Wingle was reportedly heading to Whiskey Flat Days last weekend when she got out of the car after an argument with her husband. Sheriff’s deputies say he has been cooperating with the investigation.
