A raid by California City Police and the Department of Fish and Wildlife has uncovered a large illegal marijuana growing operation.

Officers say hundreds of pot plants were seized Monday at a rental home on Bay Avenue south of California City Boulevard where the suspects also caused a lot of damage. There were no arrests.
