Volunteers in Bakersfield and Kern County have joined millions of their peers to celebrate Read Across America Day. The annual motivation and awareness program is celebrated March 2nd, the birthday of children’s author Dr. Suess. KUZZ’s Steve and Geoff read to 5th graders at Standard Elementary.
