Three people need a new place to stay after an early morning fire caused major damage to their home in Central Bakersfield. City Fire Battalion Chief John Frando says it was reported around 1:30 this morning from the home on S Street near 9th. No one was inside the house when it caught fire, a damage estimate has not been released.
