A Bakersfield trucking school owner and a former DMV employee have been arrested for issuing commercial driver’s licenses. The US Attorney’s Office says Paramjit Mangat would let Akal Truck Driving School students who failed their tests pay Javier Hernandez-Herrera to change their status at a Bakersfield DMV, they face at least five years in prison if convicted.
