Bakersfield Police are investigating an officer-involved shooting in the Home Depot parking lot at the Northwest Promenade shopping center after they began following a stolen car. Sgt. Brian Holcombe says it all started around 7:30 last night on Rosedale Highway and Coffee Road. Other officers were called in for backup and at least one person has been arrested but there are no details on why the officer fired.
