Two people have been arrested for auto theft after an officer-involved shooting near the Home Depot in northwest Bakersfield. Police say Javier Luevano, Daniela Ayala and Marcos Gonzales were pulled over around 7:30 Wednesday night in the Northwest Promenade parking lot for driving a stolen sedan. It is unclear what led Officer Richard Robles to shoot, but no one was hurt and he’s on paid leave during the investigation.
