The Kern Law Enforcement Association has endorsed Chief Deputy Justin Fleeman for Sheriff. 52-percent of their members chose the challenger over current Sheriff Donny Youngblood in a recent vote due to “low pay” and high department turnover. The union represents over 500 deputies and other investigators.
