Police are hosting a free BBQ in southeast Bakersfield where people can meet officers and learn more about how they protect us. Today’s [fri] two-hour event at the Friendship House Community Center on Cottonwood Road will include jump houses for the kids, live music and other attractions, it goes from 4:00 to 6pm.
