Kern County Veterans are invited to an open house at the Bakersfield VA Outpatient Clinic that’s being held Wednesday, April 4th. Spokesman Charles Green says there will be staff on hand to help with claims and talk about the wide range of programs for veterans, from Women’s services to PTSD and other healthcare needs, plus a chance to apply for local jobs with about 30 local employers. Refreshments will be served and a live band will perform at the VA Clinic on Westwind Drive off 19th Street in downtown Bakersfield, the event is from 10:00 to 2:00.
