The Kern County Elections Office projects Ralph Anthony is the winner of race to replace Bakersfield City School District Area 3 Trustee Ray Gonzales, who stepped down due to illness. Anthony was one of four people vying for the open seat. The unofficial tally shows he came in with 32-percent of the vote in Tuesday’s special election.
