Delano Police want the DA’s Office to charge federal immigration agents with lying to them about a fatal crash involving farm workers. A statement on the department’s Facebook page says security video shows ICE vehicles had flashing lights on during the chase last month and that there are “other discrepancies.” Santo and Marcelina Garcia died when their car hit a pole and flipped on West Cecil Avenue as they ran from agents, who were looking for another man linked to their home address. A review is already underway.
