ZINGO’S VICTIM SHOT FIRST, NO CHARGES FILED

Bakersfield Police say the man who shot and killed a rival motorcycle gang member in a parking lot outside Zingo’s Cafe did so after the victim fired first.

Officers say Mongols member Ricardo Viera crashed their event Saturday and fired into the crowd with an illegal shotgun, wounding one person, before that Hells Angels grabbed his legal gun and shot back several times.

The unnamed man has been cooperating with BPD and most likely won’t face charges.
