A Celebration of Life service for former Bakersfield Mayor Harvey Hall has been set for Saturday, June 2nd at Rabobank Arena and the public is invited. Hall was the city’s longest-serving mayor at four terms, until he stepped down last year to spend more time with family and run his business, Hall Ambulance. Harvey Hall was 77 when he passed Saturday of an aggressive and “untreatable” illness. The final details of the Celebration are still being worked out. The event itself starts at 10:00.
