The new coach of the Bakersfield Condors met dozens of hardcore fans–young and old–at the Marriott hotel downtown.

Stanley Cup champion Jay Woodcroft says Bakersfield is a good fit for the American Hockey League, but we need speed to make the playoffs. The Condors have just missed the post season for the last three years.
