The man accused of shooting another man in the middle of a Taft intersection has pleaded not guilty to first-degree murder. Sheriff’s deputies have not said why they think Bobby Sherrell killed David Steelman on Olive Avenue and Crystal Street June 13th.

The victim was found an hour after two bodies were discovered in an Arvin orchard, but the crimes have not been linked.
