Kern County Sheriff’s Deputies say a man was stabbed in Taft on “A” Street near “A” Street Park.

The 45-year-old was at home Friday morning about 11:30 when he was approached by several people in a silver SUV or sedan, two of them chased him down and stabbed him several times. He was airlifted to the hospital where he is in stable condition.
