Bakersfield Police have arrested a murder suspect after a SWAT standoff near Planz Elementary School.

Tyrone Foreman was taken into custody in around 8:45 Monday night on Belvedere Avenue near Hughes Lane and booked on felony murder and gang charges. Police believe he shot 26-year-old Ruben Garcia and wounded two others in March on East 10th Street.
