The man wanted for a March 9th murder on east 10th Street in Bakersfield made his first appearance in court. Kern County Deputy District Attorney Joe Marcano says 22-year-old Trevon Foreman is accused of shooting 26-year-old Ruben Garcia. Foreman barricaded himself with family members inside a home on Belvedere Avenue near Planz Elementary School Monday night, but surrendered 12 hours later. If convicted he faces a possible death sentence.
