A second person has died after a two vehicle crash on 7th Standard Road just east of Magnolia Avenue. CHP Sgt. Chris Carr says a SUV headed east drifted into the lane of a big rig headed west and they hit head on about 6:15 Wednesday morning. Carr says the SUV then spun around and hit a power pole ejecting a teenage passenger from the back seat who died at the scene. The driver of the SUV died later while undergoing treatment at Kern Medical, the semi driver was uninjured.
