CLEAN CALIFORNIA AIR

Climate pollutants in California are now below 1990 levels for the first time. Dave Clegern with the California Resources Board says the reason why carbon emissions are down 13 percent since the 2004 peak is a very large spike in renewable energy. Solar power use in particular is up astronomically. Clegern says they’re now on track to reaching their 2030 goal of a 40% reduction from the benchmark 1990 levels.
