Bakersfield Police are investigating a shooting where an elderly person shot a man who was caught burglarizing his home. It came to light around 12:20 Saturday afternoon when a shots fired call led officers to Vassar Street and Mt. Vernon Avenue.

They say 22-year-old Joshua Zorilla was wounded in the leg by the homeowner on San Pablo Street.
