The man who pleaded no contest to killing a man in Arvin and wounding three people at a bar two years later has been sentenced to 30 years to life in prison.

Juan Rendon admitted he shot Leonel Arreguin on B Street in 2014 while being interrogated about a shooting at El Portrero Nightclub. He had been upset about being kicked out of the bar and returned with a gun.

It’s unclear what beef Rendon had with Arreguin.
