A Tehachapi couple has been charged in the death of their two-month-old baby. Sheriff’s deputies say 29-year-old Matthew Norwood and 28-year-old Brittney Collins took the child to Kern Medical earlier this month with multiple injuries. They were later arrested at their mobile home.

Both have pleaded not guilty to assault of a child causing a coma or paralysis.
