A man and his dog have been killed after their vintage Ford pickup was broadsided near Wasco.

The victims’ truck was making a turn from Poso Avenue onto Western Avenue just after noon on Wednesday when another pickup blew a stop sign. The crash caused the 1955 Ford to flip and also took out the sign.

Drugs, alcohol, and speed do not appear to be factors in the accident. The other driver stayed on scene and is cooperating with investigators.
